About
The International Symposium on Intelligent Precision Medicine (IPMED) is an academic program supported by the Cixi Institute of Biomedical Engineering, CNITECH. It aims to promote interdisciplinary communication and academic innovation. During the Symposium, we will discuss on the applications of artificial intelligence technology in medical industry and diagnosis of ophthalmological diseases.
Settings of the Symposium
The Symposium mainly includes four sub-forums:
- Artificial Intelligence: Development of automated disease diagnosis techniques based on medical and ophthalmologic images to automate low-cost, high-precision ophthalmic disease screening;
- Precision Medicine: Through extensive cooperation with hospitals internationally, patient genetics and medical image data are collected. Precise medical techniques based on human genes, medical images, and big data processing are developed;
- Eye-brain Linkage: Combination of eye and brain information can fulfill diagnosis and intervention of eye and brain diseases (e.g. Glaucoma and Alzheimer's disease);
- Surgical Robots: Development of automated surgical guidance and assisted techniques based on ocular images and medical robots.
