Datatset Description

SURE is a super-resolution reconstruction dataset of OCTA images, which contains 1640 images (820 pairs of 3×3 mm2 and 6×6 mm2 scans). SURE has two subsets, SURE-O and SURE-Z.

  • SURE-O contains 559 pairs of OCTA images from 320 subjects (including 150 with neurodegenerative disease and 170 healthy controls), with FOVs of 3×3 mm2 and 6×6 mm2 centered at the fovea, respectively. All the OCTA scans were captured by the Optovue Avanti RTVue XR with AngioVue software (Optovue, Fremont, USA). Both 3×3 mm2 and 6×6 mm2 have the same image resolution of 304×304.
  • SURE-Z contains 261 pairs of OCTA images from 172 subjects (including 159 with diabetic retinopathy and 13 healthy controls), with FOVs of 3×3 mm2 and 6×6 mm2 centered at the fovea, respectively. All the OCTA scans were captured by the Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT 5000 with AngioPlex software (Zeiss Meditec, Dublin, USA). Both 3×3 mm2 and 6×6 mm2 scans have the same image resolution of 512×512.
  • Manual annotations: 37 and 36 OCTA scans from the testing sets of SURE-O and SURE-Z, respectively, were randomly selected for FAZ and vessel manual annotation (all with 3 × 3 mm2 scan).
